I invite you to regroup and recharge as we prepare to face each day. We cannot go back, what's done is done. Let's walk in the revelation that what is to come is better than what's been. An end...or a new beginning...(Last Class Blog)

This is my last official assignment before the "Survey." I have enjoyed my journey through the Web 2.0 tools with all of my classmates. Many of you have shared your stress and frustrations, but you have also shared your knowledge and wonderful ideas for using wikis, blogs, podcasts, etc. Thank you for your humor and openness. Thank you for reminding me that I am not alone because in MS - we are all in this together!

Blogs and wikis will be a mainstay in my classes simply because they are condusive to Language Arts. This will permit my students to venture into areas of writing that are not traditional, and all along I can guide them and encourage the use of correct grammar and punctuation. I will use podcasts and videostreaming as my units permit. I will also use RSS and social bookmarking sites for research.

Don't forget to stop by my blog every now and then. I will keep this blog as a way to vent and share with my friends and fellow teachers. This has been wonderful therapy! I look forward to hearing from you all every now and then. I can't wait to see what comes out on the web next...Be encouraged and be blessed!

Have no fear, you can't get rid of me so easily that just the end of a class would do! Hopefully, you will continue with this blog in addition to your class blog. I love reading what you write--even if I don't always leave comments.
I'll be seeing you around on the web!

This brief course has been great for gaining so many new ideas. I also plan to use wikis and blogs frequently with students because, as you pointed out, they lend themselves wonderfully to language arts. And that includes book/author-related activities that I use in my library classes. It has been nice to finally find out what wikis, blogs, podcasting, etc. involve instead of just hearing the words and wondering. I plan to stop by classmates' blogs in the future. Don't forget to stop by mine!
